The SHIFT (Systems for Health Innovation & Fairness Transformation) Scholar Program provides students with hands-on project opportunities to explore and contribute to public health. While designed for students pursuing public health careers, the program also welcomes participants from diverse academic backgrounds, empowering them to apply their unique skills, whether in data science, coding, research, communications, or other fields, to advance meaningful public health initiatives. Through real-world projects, mentorship, and interdisciplinary collaboration, students gain practical experience while helping to drive innovation and improve health outcomes in communities.
